A new facility was required to maintain Alco’s ability to manufacture its products using cutting edge technology, and up-to-date, internationally recognised engineering methods in the production processes and quality assurance programme.
Investing in a large vacant factory building, Alco commenced the alteration, upgrade and extension of the property. This included provision of a new office and administration resource, and the extensive renewal and fit out of the production space into a bespoke manufacturing centre.

Rofin Sinar
Rofin-Sinar UK dsesigns, develops and manufactures sealed carbon dioxide lasers for marking applications and industrial processing.
The company's sealed lasers and power supply components have been installed in a wide variety of systems around the world, spanning a diverse range of industrial sectors and across a broad spectrum of cutting, welding, drilling, heat treating and marking applications.
Continuous improvement in their products and processes lead to Rofin Sinar expanding their operation to a new factory facility. The opportunity allowed Rofin Sinar to plan the manufacturing works to meet their specific needs and improve their value offering to customers.

IT@Spectrum is an award-winning technology business with over 30 years’ experience and a track record of helping organisations make significant savings in time and money by introducing highly-efficient, automated business management and print processes.
Their continual growth necessitated the relocation of the business into a custom-built office and distribution building within the locality of the existing Hull premises. A new site at the Bridgehead Business Park was identified as an ideal location close to the motorway for access to the M62 and the Humber Bridge linking it directly to Lincolnshire.
The facility provides state-of-the-art working environment at Bridgehead for IT@Spectrum and its sister company, The One Point, for a one stop shop to IT managed services.
